Our custom altar icons are created out of a choice of hardwoods with a laser engraved image of the Goddess being revered. Each piece of wood is unique and will engrave differently as well as have diversity in the grain. Sometimes images pop out of the woodgrain, so look past the engraving for communications from the goddess. 
 
The icon slides into a base that acts as a small altar for offerings such as candles, a drink, incense, or something else that the goddess depicted would appreciate. Together they create a beautiful addition to a large altar or can be a tiny altar to carry along with you on your Journeys of Spirit. 
 
Each icon (3.5" x 7") is sold with a pouch that the pieces can slide into for travel. The pouch is large enough to also hold a few other small implements.

Additional engravings can be added to the base or the back of the icon, like a sigil, an invocation or a prayer, a symbol or a picture, so that when it is turned around the deity is then revealed, or if it's on the base your offering is placed upon it. 
 
Adding a simple, basic stock sigil on the base is $10 and can be requested upon purchase immediately. A $10-20 up-charge for other requests will depend upon design/formatting time needed.
